Begin your 12-day Everest Base Camp trek with round-trip airport transfers that take you between Kathmandu and the domestic terminal. After check-in, board your domestic flight between Kathmandu and Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. On arrival, your experienced and government-licensed guide introduces the route and pace before you start walking towards the first tea house lodge.

Across 12 days, you follow the classic Everest Base Camp itinerary from Lukla through Sherpa villages and high mountain valleys to the foot of the world's highest peak.

Features

• Walk from Lukla towards Namche Bazaar, the cultural and commercial center of the Khumbu region, then continue through Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, toward Tengboche, Dingboche, and the higher settlements. Daily walking generally runs for approximately five to seven hours, with increasing altitude and changing mountain weather.
• Reach iconic Everest Base Camp at the foot of Mount Everest and walk alongside the Khumbu Glacier, where you can view the famous Khumbu Icefall. A side hike to Kala Patthar rewards you with sunrise views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Pumori, and Thamserku.
• Stay each night in tea house lodges, with all accommodations arranged for the full 12-day Everest Base Camp trek. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner during trekking are included, so you can focus on walking and acclimatizing rather than logistics.
• Trek throughout with an experienced and government-licensed guide and porter, with 1 porter provided for every 2 trekkers so your main luggage is carried between tea houses. A first aid kit is carried by the Sherpa leader, and altitude is managed carefully with gradual ascent and acclimatization days as needed.
