Your experience will start from Pennicott Wilderness Journeys Booking Center situated on Franklin Wharf at Hobart’s waterfront. The brand new vessels can hold up to a maximum of 12 passengers. The cruise ship will go down the Derwent River and pass by the historic Battery Point, which is currently home to some of the rich and famous of Tasmania. As you go more towards the south, Mount Wellington towers over the city and presents a stunning sight.

Finally, you will reach Iron Pot, the oldest lighthouse in all of Australia. Next up is Betsey Island, which is home to a diverse variety of seabirds, such as cormorants, gulls, and white-bellied sea eagles. As you loop around Betsey Island, you will see Hope Beach, famous for its offshore winds and large breaks.
