Your Experience
Day 1: Cradle Mountain and Sheffield
Depart Hobart at 7:00 AM for a journey to Launceston with a break at Campbell Town. Arrive at Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre for two hours to complete the Dove Lake Circuit or shorter walks. Ancient moss-covered forests like the Enchanted Forest offer wildlife sightings including wombats, wallabies, and the Tasmanian Devil. Visit Sheffield to view local murals and artistic streets before a 2-hour scenic drive to Launceston arriving at 6:00 PM.
Day 2: Wineglass Bay and Freycinet
Leave Launceston at 7:30 AM and stop at Campbell Town for breakfast. Avid hikers can spend up to 4 hours on Wineglass Bay hike or Mt. Amos ascent while others walk to the lookout with a 40-minute uphill hike. Take a swim at Honeymoon Bay and visit Freycinet Marine Farm to sample fresh seafood and wines. A takeaway meal and ice cream treat will be available before returning to Hobart at 5:45 PM.
