Nestled in the Southern Alps of New Zealand, Mt Cook is the highest mountain in the country and stands at 3,724 meters tall. Also known as Aoraki, the mountain is located within the boundaries of Mount Cook National Park and is covered with breathtaking glaciers, snow-capped peaks, and beautiful valleys.
On this tour, you can select between the helicopter and the ski plane option to glide over the Southers Alps with the expansive mountain below you. The silence and the serenity of the place are made even more elegant by the calm blue of the glacier lakes and the lushness of the vegetation that covers parts of the mountain. As you fly over the Tasman Valley toward the end of your tour, you will make a landing on the glacier, helping you capture fond memories of an incredible tour.
