Katsuo-ji Temple is a renowned temple located in the mountains of Minoo Quasi-National Park in northern Osaka. With a history spanning approximately 1,300 years, it is revered as the "Temple of Victory and Fortune." The area is dotted with Victory Daruma dolls, symbolizing overcoming oneself and praying for good luck.
Surrounded by natural mountains and forests, Katsuo-ji Temple offers different scenery in each season: cherry blossoms in spring, hydrangeas in summer, and maple leaves in autumn. Each season adds a unique dimension to the pilgrimage experience.

The latest time to enter the mountain is 30 minutes before closing time. On weekends and Japanese national holidays, parking at the temple requires advance reservation and is only available to vehicles with reservations. Waiting on-site will not be permitted, and entry will be restricted when the parking lot is full on weekdays.
