The Monument
This structure mirrors ancient Roman triumphal arches in a Neoclassical style. From the top, you see the city center and the dozen avenues spreading out from it.
The Ascent
Reaching the summit involves climbing 284 steps unless you qualify for elevator use. Wheelchair users may request the elevator, while others must take the stairs.
Site Rules
Selfie sticks, tripods, glass bottles, and strollers are not allowed inside the main area. You can leave a stroller with staff at the entrance to collect later.

Ticket Delivery
To access the Arc de Triomphe you must use the underground walkway from the Avenue Champs-Elysées or Grande Armée. Skip the ticket line in the underground walkway and go straight to the stairs, located on the right-hand side of the ticket office/ Once outside, go straight to the 'Reserved Entry' (Entrée Réservée) line on the right. After the security checkpoint, show your smartphone ticket to be scanned. Last admission 45 minutes before closing, during peak times 1 hour before closing due to safety reasons
