Your Experience

From the observatory located in the center of Beppu, you can see the magnificent scenery of Beppu alluvial fan, the Kunisaki Peninsula, and Mt. Takasaki in Oita City, with Shikoku visible in the distance.

Observation Experience

The observatory consists of two floors and offers various shooting spots, allowing you to enjoy a powerful view of hot spring city: Beppu from 55 meters above the ground. The observatory on the 17th floor is 55 meters high, providing a 360-degree view of the Onsen (hot-spring) city of Beppu and Beppu Bay.

Art Experience

The Beppu Art Museum opened on Nagarekawa Street in December 2017 and relocated to Beppu Tower in March 2022. It mainly displays paintings by celebrities and works by famous artists, allowing many people to enjoy the art.

Night View

The lighting up at night using the latest external LED lighting makes the night view of the tourist city of Beppu even more spectacular.

  • The middle observation deck from the 5th floor is not accessible by wheelchairs due to stairs.
  • No pets are allowed.
  • In case of rain, the 5th floor will be closed.
