Bibi Ka Maqbara is a mausoleum in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, built as the final resting place of Dilras Banu Begum (posthumously titled Rabia-ud-Daurani), the principal wife of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Construction was commissioned by their son, Prince Azam Shah, and carried out between the 1660s and 1670s.
The monument was designed in conscious imitation of the Taj Mahal in Agra, built by Aurangzeb's father Shah Jahan for his own wife, and is popularly known as the 'Taj of the Deccan' or 'mini Taj Mahal'. It features a white marble facade over the lower portions with the upper sections finished in plaster, set within a Mughal charbagh garden with a central water channel and fountains.
The mausoleum is a Centrally Protected Monument maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India and stands as one of Aurangabad's principal heritage attractions.
