Gardens Tour

During the second half of the tour, you will pass through the gardens of Villa Borghese, admiring the carefully cut lawns, fountains, ponds, and monuments. Duration: Lasts 2 hours 30 minutes.

  • Accessibility:Not suitable for wheelchair users or guests with any impairments requiring special assistance
  • Not allowed:Flash photography or video recording without permission
  • Strollers or baby carriages
  • Know in advance:Delays may occur during mandatory security controls when entering the site
  • To avoid disruptions or possible denied entry, it is strongly advised to avoid bringing large bags, or backpacks. The Borghese Gallery specifically prohibits all bags and they must be checked in before entry to the museum
  • Please be aware that some sections may be temporarily closed for maintenance, for this reason, the tour duration may vary slightly
  • Note that the venue closes at 7:00pm. If you have selected entrance tickets for 5:45pm, you will have 1 hour and 15 minutes to spend in the museum
  • Please be aware that some of the landmarks and monuments included in this tour may be subject to ongoing maintenance or restoration work. These activities, while essential for preservation, might result in limited access, temporary visual obstructions, or reduced photo opportunities
  • Please note that the 7:00pm tour lasts for 2 hours and the garden visit is not included
  • The tour ends at the Pincio Terrace overlooking Piazza del Popolo. From there it is quick and easy to reach Piazza del Popolo as well as the adjacent Metro stop (Flaminio - 5-minute walk), but it does require descending a long flight of steps
  • Remember to bring:A valid ID to take advantage of reduced-price tickets (children 4–14 years)
