Your Experience
Your day begins at the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal where check-in is straightforward. You will board the MV Big Cat, a 35-meter catamaran built for comfort and stability on the water.
The vessel offers an air-conditioned lounge, open deck space for sunbathing, and a bar for refreshments during the crossing.
Island Arrival
After a 45-minute ride across the water, you arrive at Green Island, a coral cay surrounded by the Great Barrier Reef. Once there, you have nearly five hours to explore at your own pace.
Walk the shaded boardwalks under palm trees, swim in the ocean, or rest on the white sand. To engage with the marine environment, select from several optional activities like snorkeling or a glass-bottom boat tour.
Return Voyage
A buffet lunch is available for purchase if you want a prepared meal with vegetarian and gluten-free choices. In the late afternoon, reboard the catamaran for a relaxing return trip to Cairns.
