Inside the Galleries
Walk through sovereign apartments designed for the Court of Napoleon III. You will see items like Marie Antoinette's bed, Napoleon's throne, and a portrait of Empress Josephine from 1807.
The building contains over 1500 rooms, three chapels, and four museums. Napoleon refurbished the property after the revolution in 1814, calling it the true home of Kings.
