The Chiayi Alishan FunPASS offers an immersive journey combining the rich aboriginal culture with Taiwan's stunning natural beauty. This travel package allows you to explore iconic attractions such as the Taiping Sky Ladder, Danai Valley, Zhuolu Tribe, and Guanyin Waterfall. Explore in the vibrant culture of the Tsou indigenous people while enjoying breathtaking mountain landscapes.

With this e-package, which is valid for three months from activation, you can choose two attractions to visit along with a special gift. The package also includes an experience ticket that grants access to unique cultural performances and activities at the Zou Ethnic Group's Zhuolu Cultural and Creative Park. Here, you can enjoy traditional song and dance shows or participate in sika deer feeding sessions.

Additionally, the FunPASS provides opportunities for a traditional archery experience, held twice daily from Wednesday to Sunday and on consecutive holidays. Each session is limited to 80 participants, ensuring an intimate and engaging experience.

Must Know

  • The system does not provide the function of modifying orders. If you want to change the quantity, you need to return the ticket and reorder it.
  • If any product or gift in the package has been used after verification, returns and refunds will not be accepted.
  • The package has a 90-day validity limit, that is, it must be used within 90 days after any product is used (including the day of first use). For example: If the first product is activated on July 1, 2024, the latest use period will be until September 28, 2024.
  • Please be sure to pay attention to the business hours of the redemption store. If redemption is not possible during this period, please redeem it during other normal business hours during the validity period.

  • For safety reasons, entry into the Taiping Sky Ladder is prohibited during non-open periods. Anyone who enters without authorization will be solely responsible for the consequences.
    Visitors who are visibly incapacitated or intoxicated are strictly prohibited from entering. Additionally, those with acrophobia, high blood pressure, heart disease, asthma, pregnancy, or other physical conditions that make them unsuitable for passage should not enter for safety reasons.
    There are steps at both the front and back of the ladder. For safety reasons, strollers and wheelchairs are not allowed to enter.
    To maintain the quality of the visit and ensure tourist safety, please do not smoke during your visit, and it is also prohibited to bring pets, explosives, or other items that may damage the facilities.
    On the ladder, it is forbidden to use umbrellas, wear high heels, run, jump, make noise, climb, sway, march in unison, or throw objects.
    Visitors are requested to enter in order and follow the designated route. When the red warning light is flashing, visitors are prohibited from entering. Visitors on the bridge should follow the instructions of the service personnel and leave as soon as possible.
    In the event of typhoons, earthquakes, torrential rains, strong winds, lightning strikes, or other weather conditions unsuitable for ladder truck access, the company may suspend access until the facilities are confirmed to be safe before announcing the reopening date.
  • To preserve and maintain the artifacts, the National Palace Museum Southern Branch maintains the temperature in its exhibition halls between 20 and 24 degrees Celsius. Please bring your own warm clothing if needed.
    Eating and drinking are prohibited inside the exhibition area; water must be consumed in the designated drinking area or seating area outside the exhibition hall.
    Animals (except guide dogs), plants, food and beverages other than bottled water, balloons, or other items deemed by the institute to disrupt the order of the exhibition area are prohibited from being brought into the venue.
    It is prohibited to bring any prohibited or dangerous items, food, liquids, bottles, or cans into the exhibition area.
    Groups are prohibited from providing any guided tours or explanations without renting an audio guide system.
    Photography is permitted in the exhibition area of ​​this museum, provided that auxiliary equipment such as flash, lighting equipment, tripods, and selfie sticks are not used. Artifacts that are not open for photography will be marked with a separate prohibition sign.
    Backpacks, travel bags, suitcases, and other items (larger than A3 size) should be stored; coin-operated lockers are available outside the exhibition area (coins will be refunded after use), and stored items can only be retrieved on the same day.
  • Children under elementary school age at the Tsou Tribe Creative Cultural Park must be accompanied by a family member!
    Children under five years old are free to enter (no experience materials provided).
  • During the dry season, the water volume of Guanyin Waterfall is small, and only a trickle can be seen. It is a dangerous area, and camping, picnicking, and other water-related activities are prohibited.
    For driving safety reasons, cars and motorcycles are generally prohibited from entering the park. Entry is by foot or by shuttle bus.
    From the parking lot to the scenic area entrance, it takes about 30 minutes to walk or about 10 minutes by shuttle bus.

Take the Nan-2 Freeway to Zhuzhi Interchange (approximately 20 minutes) → turn east onto County Road 166 (towards Zhuzhi → turn left onto Provincial Highway 3 → turn right at Fu-mao Gas Station and continue on County Road 166, turn right at the 3rd traffic light) → take County Road 166 to Shuidao Wenfeng Visitor Center → continue on Chiayi 119, turn left onto Chiayi 119-1 → Xixinliao Guanyin Waterfall Scenic Area.
