Located in the heart of Chongqing’s historic Ciqikou town area, the state-of-the-art Chongqing 1949 Grand Theatre is a purpose-built venue for this singular production.
The show “Chongqing·1949” unfolds on the eve of Chongqing’s liberation in 1949, portraying the courage and sacrifice of revolutionaries in a turbulent era, and culminating in the dawn of a new age.

* Present your e-voucher (electronic ticket) at the theatre and exchange for a paper ticket at the box office.
* Ticket collection address: No. 999 Jinbi Zheng Street, Shapingba District, Chongqing (重庆1949大剧院).
* Collection time / Show time: According to the selected session on your ticket. Use and take-ticket address/time are the same.
* Important notes:
1. After arrival at the theatre, scan the QR-code and exchange for your paper ticket; check your seat number and enter accordingly.
2. Once booked, tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable unless the performance is cancelled or rescheduled by the organiser.
3. Stage A (VIP / rotate zone): Rotating 360° stage. After show starts for 5 minutes, no late entry. For safety, children ≤1.2 m, seniors ≥65, pregnant women or those with vertigo, heart-disease, high-blood-pressure, spinal or neck conditions are **not advised** to select this zone.
