Originally built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, it blends Ming and Qing architectural styles characteristic of Huguang (Hubei and Hunan) and Chongqing. It features hundreds of sculptural works, including stone, wood, and brick carvings, as well as exquisite reliefs depicting themes such as *Journey to the West* and *Investiture of the Gods*. The ancient stage within the hall once witnessed performances by masters like Mei Lanfang.
