Arrive at Bay Mau Coconut Forest near Hoi An and check in with your e-ticket and ID. After a quick security check, meet your friendly guide who’ll take you to your traditional basket boat for a unique journey through coconut-lined canals.

What to expect

  • Bay Mau Coconut Forest: Cruise through calm waterways surrounded by lush palms in a round basket boat. Sip fresh coconut water as you enjoy a spinning boat performance and a fun local fishing demo. Try your hand at catching crabs for a taste of daily life in this riverside village. After the ride, head to Bach Dang Wharf and board your boat to Hoi An Memories Land.

  • Hoi An Memories Land: Walk through themed streets and enjoy intimate mini shows that bring folk tales, music, and traditional dance to life—a colourful and immersive lead-up to the main event.

  • Hoi An Memories Show: This spectacle unfolds in five acts, portraying Hoi An’s journey from fishing village to cultural hub. Choose Eco seats near the stage, High seats for an elevated full-stage view, or VIP seats with shade, cold towels, bottled water, and fresh fruit. You can also include a Vietnamese buffet dinner with authentic dishes like Mi Quang and vegetarian options.

Hoi An Memories Land is wheelchair accessible. The basket boat ride is not wheelchair accessible.

To avoid disturbing others, please be silent during the show. Please ensure that your phone is set to vibrate mode during the show. Please arrive at the meet-up location at least 15 minutes before the scheduled activity time. The coconut basket boat fishing performance ends at 4:30pm, and the last boat ride is scheduled at 5pm. Please arrive early if you wish to see all the performances. If you’d like your basket boat driver to perform a spinning trick during the ride, a small tip is required. Each coconut basket boat can carry up to 2 adults and 1 child. If your group is larger, additional boats will be arranged so everyone can enjoy the ride together. If you have opted for dinner, please note that the buffet closes promptly at 8pm. We recommend arriving early to fully enjoy your dining experience. The basket boat ride operates daily from Monday to Sunday between 8am and 5pm. The Hoi An Memories Show runs from 8pm to 9pm, Monday to Sunday, and is closed on Tuesdays.
