Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the museum or tour areas. Weapons of any kind, including guns, knives, pepper spray, tasers, and sharp objects, are prohibited. Smoking or electronic smoking anywhere inside the museum or on its grounds is strictly prohibited. All forms of intoxication are strictly prohibited on the premises. Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the museum galleries, except sealed bottled water. Pets are not allowed inside. Flash photography and professional equipment, including tripods, selfie sticks, microphones, and camera extensions, are not allowed inside exhibition spaces or during tours.

The museum and tour are accessible to guests using wheelchairs and motorized scooters, with ramps and elevators available throughout the building. Service animals are allowed on-site.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. The RCA Studio B tour is only available in combination with museum admission. Arrive 15 minutes early to catch the free shuttle from the museum to the studio. Non-flash photography and short personal-use videos are allowed using smartphones or small handheld cameras.
