Scenic Routes

To the east, passing the Brighton Pier and the Brighton Wheel, you can cycle towards the Brighton marina, where you will see the white cliffs that lead all the way to Dover. The Undercliff Walk will have you believing you have been transported to a foreign country.

Breaks and Attractions

Stop halfway at Ovingdean for a tea and cake break at Jane’s Cafe. A little further on is the historic village of Rottingdean, a former home to Rudyard Kipling. You can visit Kipling's Garden, stop for cream tea or lunch overlooking the beach.

Westward Exploration

To the west lie the colourful beach huts, regency buildings and grand lawns of Hove seafront. The cycle path will take you all the way to Hove Lagoon water sports centre, where you can kayak, sail or wakeboard on the manmade lake.

  • Please keep in mind the shop closes at 18.00pm, if applicable to you please remember you have until one minute before closing time to return the bike
  • Please remember to return the bike one minute before your hour is up and kindly keep in mind the shop's closing time before booking your time slot
  • If you book the four hours or more rental option, you have the bike until one minute before closing time
  • There are add-ons which can be purchased on-site when you go to collect your bike: Child seats, tag-a-longs and trailers. These are available for the duration of the hire when hired with an adult bike
  • Please note, entrance fees are not included in this activity when visiting famous sights and/or monuments
  • It is up to the pregnant woman's discretion whether they would like to take part in this activity
  • No-shows will be charged the full price
