Your Experience
A 4-hour private desert safari from Doha with dune bashing, Inland Sea visit, camel ride, and falconry photography session.
Getting started
Your 4x4 vehicle with an experienced driver collects you from your hotel within Doha, in a fully private setup that is not shared with other groups. After a short briefing in the car, you leave the city behind and head toward the open desert, with bottled water available on board for the drive.
Dune bashing and arrival activities
What to expect
The adventure begins as your driver lowers the tire pressure and takes the 4x4 onto the sand for off-road dune bashing. You cross rolling dunes on a tailored route, then continue through the desert to reach the Inland Sea, Khor Al Udayd, where the sand meets the open water.
Features
- Experience off-road dune bashing in a private 4x4 with an experienced driver who controls the pace to match your comfort level.
- Visit the Inland Sea, Khor Al Udayd, and step out to walk on the sand, take photos, or simply watch the waves reach the desert shore.
- Benefit from fuel, parking, and permit fees being covered for the entire 4-hour private desert safari in a 4x4 vehicle with an experienced driver.
Camel ride and falconry session
What to expect
After your time at the dunes and shoreline, the safari shifts to traditional desert activities. You join a camel ride across sand dunes, then meet a falcon handler for a dedicated falconry photography session.
Features
- Take a camel ride across sand dunes, using the natural rhythm of the camel’s walk to experience the terrain as desert travelers have for generations.
- Join a falconry photography session with a handler, posing with a trained falcon and learning basic facts about the bird while you capture your own photos.
- Stay refreshed with bottled water on board throughout, before your hotel pickup and drop-off within Doha brings the private 4WD safari with dune bashing and Inland Sea, camel ride experience to a close.
