Explore Souq Waqif, the standing market, in this self-guided exploration game, part treasure hunt and part outdoor escape room. For hundreds of years merchants and travellers met here to trade spices, pearls, food and textiles, long before the gleaming modern city around it. Follow the clues through alleys and quiet courtyards, past spice sellers and perfume makers, to the falcons and the camel pen.
Along the way you solve challenges in the Questo app, learn historical facts and local myths, and discover hidden spots that only locals know and most tourists pass by. The walk covers about 2 km and takes around 1 hour, with no time limit.
