Getting started
Your adventure begins by arriving at Hudson Yards during your chosen time slot. After scanning your ticket, you'll walk through an engaging multimedia corridor that showcases how Hudson Yards was conceived, constructed, and sustainably powered today. Then, board the high-speed sky pod elevator for a swift 52-second journey to Level 100.
Edge Observation Deck – Skip-the-line & flexible entry
The Edge combines innovative architecture with unparalleled views of New York City's skyline, offering one of NYC’s most exhilarating observation experiences. From its suspended outdoor platform and dramatic glass angles to the floor panels, you'll experience New York from fascinating new perspectives.
- Level 100 indoor sky deck: Begin your visit indoors with expansive windows that offer sweeping views of the Hudson River, Midtown skyscrapers, and beyond. This area is ideal for taking warm-up photos before venturing outside.
- Outdoor sky deck with angled glass walls: Step onto a triangular platform extending 80 feet into open air. Lean against the angled glass walls to enjoy unobstructed views of landmarks like the Empire State Building, World Trade Center, and Central Park's northern skyline.
- The Glass Floor: Walk over a transparent panel that allows you to gaze straight down 100 stories to the streets below. This feature is one of Edge’s most iconic photo opportunities.
- Skyline Steps & Eastern Point: Ascend outdoor steps for an elevated view of the west side, or stand alone at the Eastern Point where glass surrounds you on three sides, giving a thrilling sensation of floating in mid-air.

- Please note that indoor access at Edge NYC will be partially limited in April and May due to renovation work, so plan accordingly.
