Your Experience
Experience an exhilarating go-karting session at F1® Drive London's Mixed Grid track in London. The experience includes a 15-minute practice run followed by a 15-minute sprint, along with instant lap times displayed on screen and emailed to you afterward.
Getting started
Upon arrival for your karting session, check-in is required before watching the safety briefing video, which features subtitles for hearing-impaired guests. After this, participants receive their F1® Drive racesuit and helmet. Depending on age and package type, you'll be assigned either a Cadet or Adult kart.
F1® Drive London
The Mixed Grid format at F1® Drive is tailored for families and drivers of varying abilities, with karts set to slower speeds allowing participants of different skill levels to race together. This session combines dedicated track time with lap-time based competition in one go-karting experience.
- Enjoy a structured karting session that includes 15 minutes of practice followed by another 15-minute sprint, enabling you to familiarize yourself with the circuit before competing for the fastest lap times. Instantly view your lap times on screen and receive them via email after completing the session.
- The experience offers both Cadet and Adult karts based on age and package selection, allowing younger drivers and adults to participate together in a mixed-ability format designed primarily for families rather than just experienced racers.
- F1® Drive racesuits and helmets are provided as part of your booking. Simply arrive dressed comfortably underneath the gear. A safety briefing video with subtitles is shown before driving begins, ensuring all participants understand the necessary precautions.
- Drive specially designed karts equipped with DRS technology and an 18cm LED steering wheel display that features realistic engine sounds and race-style feedback for a more engaging experience.
- Navigate through a technical circuit that includes two DRS zones, tight chicanes, and a long start/finish straight where you can drive flat out on approximately 80% of each lap.
- After the sprint session concludes, participants have the opportunity to celebrate at the winners' podium for post-race festivities and photo opportunities. Additionally, access to the F1® Drive shop is included, allowing guests to browse merchandise with any items or souvenir photos available for separate purchase.

Spectator ticket holders cannot take part in karting sessions. Children under the age of 8 years and those less than 1.25 metres in height are not allowed on this experience. Food & beverages, alcohol, sharp metallic tools or objects, large bags and suitcases, smoking and vaping are not permitted on this experience. Your pets are not permitted on this experience.
This experience is accessible to wheelchair users. Safety briefing videos include subtitles for hearing-impaired guests. Contact the team in advance if any guests have hearing impairments.
You cannot access the SIMS Racing Arena unless it is specifically booked. Kart type is assigned by age: Cadet karts for children, Adult karts for ages 14 and above. Mixed Grid sessions require at least one junior participant (aged 8–13). Spectator tickets do not include any go-karting participation. You can only add Spectator Tickets when at least one paid session is booked.
