Your tour starts with your hotel pickup from Auckland and heading towards the famous Hobbiton movie set. Enjoy the blue rivers and scenic views of the Kaimai range on the way. Once you reach the location, hop on a bus with your Hobbiton guide to get to the set. Who knows, you might catch sight of some sheep! Spread across 1,250 acres near Matamata, explore the beautiful paths dotted with hobbit homes, learn about the set’s creation, and enter a furnished Hobbit hole to see how a hobbit lives. After Hobbiton, the tour continues to Te Puia, a geothermal and cultural park in Rotorua, where you can spot bubbling mud pools and the impressive Pōhutu geyser, which erupts up to 20 times a day. This experience is wheelchair and pram/ stroller accessible. Your guide dogs are welcome on the bus.

Facilities: Free Wi-Fi and toilets. Children below 14 years must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over. Each guest is limited to one carry-on item with dimensions not exceeding 20 cm high x 28cm deep with a maximum length of 400mm. The maximum weight is 5kg. Please note that this is a one-way trip from Auckland to Rotorua and that the guests will be dropped off at their hotels in Rotorua after their evening Te Puia experience.
