It is advisable to bring sunglasses, a sunhat, sunscreen, a camera, and comfortable footwear such as shoes or sandals for the trip. Carry a light jacket in spring and autumn, as it can feel cooler out on the water. You may also pack swimwear, a towel, and flip-flops if you plan to relax by the waterfront, though they cannot be used inside the church.

Wearing swimwear inside the church at Our Lady of the Rocks is not permitted, and visitors must be dressed in at least a T-shirt. Swimming at Our Lady of the Rocks is strictly forbidden. The use of drones at Our Lady of the Rocks is not allowed.

This tour is not suitable for wheelchair users. However, it is stroller accessible and conveniently located near public transportation. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap during the speedboat ride.

Entry to the church and museum are not included with your ticket. You get 20-minutes each, on the island and in town of Perast. The tour runs only in favorable weather conditions; if it is canceled due to poor weather, you will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund. The tour has a maximum capacity of 25 participants. Please arrive 30 minutes before departure, as the boat departs promptly and late arrivals may be shifted to the next available slot with operator approval. If you are driving, allow extra time for traffic and possible roadworks near the departure point. The church and museum at Our Lady of the Rocks typically close at 5pm in April, May, September, and October; 6pm in June; and 7pm in July and August.
