Bring a light jacket, as the temperature in the mine stays between 14-16°C year-round. Comfortable shoes are essential, as extensive walking is involved.

Larger bags are not permitted inside the mine. Only handbags with a maximum size of 35cm x 20cm x 20cm are allowed.

This experience is only partly accessible by wheelchair and pram/strollers. The tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities, as you have to go down 800 steps, including 380 at the beginning of the tour. The tour may not be suitable for individuals with claustrophobia, as parts of it occur in enclosed underground spaces.

Pick-up is possible from the hotels located in the center of Krakow. If your hotel location is beyond this area or an area with limited traffic/accessibility, then you will be picked up from the nearest possible pickup spot. The exact location and pickup time will be provided to you by the tour operator at least a day before your scheduled tour. Wieliczka Salt Mine timings are subject to change.
