A valid photo ID that matches the name on your booking, just in case it’s checked at the entrance. Comfortable walking shoes, since you’ll be walking on uneven (sometimes slippery) surfaces inside both the cave and the castle. A light jacket or sweater to stay warm inside Postojna Cave, where the temperature stays cool year-round at around 10°C (50°F). Water and snacks to keep you going, as food and drinks aren’t included in the tour.

Large bags, suitcases, or oversized luggage, which aren’t permitted inside Postojna Cave or Predjama Castle for safety reasons. Pets, unless they’re registered service animals. Smoking, alcohol, and drugs, which are strictly prohibited on the premises. Flash photography, tripods, and filming equipment inside the cave and castle interiors.

Wheelchairs aren’t supported on this tour, as both the cave and castle include stairs, uneven paths, and areas that can be tricky for guests with limited mobility. Accessible restrooms and step-free access aren’t guaranteed at either site.

Entrance fees to Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle will not be included unless you’ve selected an upgrade that covers them. A tour that’s suitable for all ages, including children and infants, as long as kids are accompanied by an adult at all times. An English-language experience led by a knowledgeable guide.
