Smartphone and earphones: Required to use the multilingual audio guide inside the monasteries. Comfortable clothing and footwear: Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes with good grip for uneven paths, stairs, and cave trails. Carry a light jacket if visiting in the evening. Water and light snacks: Recommended, especially during the warmer months. Dress code: Men must wear long pants, while women must wear long skirts and cover their shoulders. Scarves and wrap skirts are usually available at monastery entrances if needed.
Photography restrictions: Photography is not permitted inside churches or of monks and nuns unless explicitly allowed. Drones: Flying drones is prohibited without prior authorization. Large luggage: Bags larger than a daypack cannot be accommodated on the vehicle. Pets: Pets are not permitted on this experience.
