Booking FAQs

Wear comfortable walking shoes. Carry a light jacket, even in summer, as temperatures are cooler at higher altitudes. Bring rain gear, such as a poncho, rain jacket, or umbrella, in case of wet weather. Carry cash to pay the Eagle's Nest special bus and elevator fee (card payments are not accepted). Bring your passport.

Pets are not allowed.

This experience is not wheelchair or stroller accessible.

If bad weather (fog, ice, or snow) prevents access to Eagle's Nest, the itinerary will instead include a longer visit to the Documentation Center and the town of Berchtesgaden. Infants must not sit on laps, and infant seats are unavailable. The meeting point is easily accessible by public transportation. Please arrive at the meeting point by 8:15am for check-in.
