Bring a light water-resistant jacket, camera or phone, 1-liter water bottle, hat and sunscreen, and a sturdy umbrella (if rain is forecast). Make sure to carry cash or credit card for meals, snacks, and souvenirs. The weather in the Sierra Mountains is unpredictable so dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes.

While there are no restrooms on the bus, it does stop every 2 hours. Non-US residents aged 16 and older will be charged an additional $100 park entry fee per person unless they hold a qualifying pass.
