Wear comfortable shoes, as the walk to the Sari Salltik cave shrine includes a moderate uphill section of about 15 minutes and the path can be icy in winter. Dress modestly for the shrine by covering your shoulders and knees, and be prepared to remove your shoes if requested. Bring cash in Albanian Lek for purchases in the Old Bazaar, as this is preferred, though some shops may accept euros.

The experience includes walking on cobblestones at the castle and bazaar, as well as a short uphill walk to the shrine, which may not be suitable for those with limited mobility or wheelchair users.

Free pickup is provided from any hotel within Tirana city limits, with pickups from Durrës or Golem available on request; the exact pickup time will be confirmed the day before via WhatsApp. The tour lasts approximately 8 hours, typically from 9am to 5pm, including about 2 hours of driving in total. Lunch is not included; expect to spend €10–€15 at a family-run spot in the Old Bazaar. There is no minimum age for this experience, but it is best suited for children who can manage cobblestones and a short uphill walk.
