There are also nationally designated important cultural properties and traditional buildings with a history of over 160 years. Nagasaki, along with Yokohama, Kobe, Hakodate, and Niigata, was opened to foreign trade, and the Nagasaki Foreign Settlement was established. Glover Garden continues to make history in that very place.

Facilities

The park is equipped with multi-purpose toilets with ostomate access, rest rooms, and nursing rooms. Electric wheelchairs are available for free rental within the park. There are moving walkways and wheelchair ramps, but most of the sidewalks are paved with stones and have steep slopes in places, so wheelchair users will need assistance to get around the park.
