Group of temples,Kiramchi

The Group of Temples at Kiramchi (Krimchi) is a complex of seven ancient Hindu temples on the bank of the Birunala stream in Krimchi village, about 12 km from Udhampur town in the Jammu Division of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the Archaeological Survey of India, the temples were constructed during the 8th-9th century AD, and the complex is locally known as the Pandava Temples.

Legendary accounts attribute the founding of the town and kingdom to Raja Kichak, and popular tradition holds that the Pandavas stayed at Krimchi during their period of exile. The group comprises four large and three small temples, all dedicated to Lord Shiva, and their architecture reflects Indo-Greek stylistic influences characteristic of temple building in the region during this era.
