Your Experience

The popular Hakone sightseeing spot "Hakone Gora Park Admission Ticket + Tea Ceremony Experience" is now available to book on Traviia! This great deal allows you to enjoy the scenery of the four seasons and explore in tea ceremony culture.

Historic Park

You can spend some relaxing time in contact with nature at this historic park, which opened over 110 years ago. The park features cherry blossoms, autumn leaves, rhododendrons, azaleas, and a variety of roses in the Rose Garden during May and October.

Tea Ceremony Experience

You can enjoy matcha tea prepared by the teacher along with original Japanese sweets in the tea room. The tea ceremony is not an experience of making matcha tea yourself. Morning sessions are from 10:00 to 12:00 (last entry at 11:30), and afternoon sessions run from 13:00 to 16:00 (last entry at 15:30). Availability will be confirmed on the day.

Park Accessibility

Hakone Gora Park is located on a steep slope, featuring many stairs. Physically disabled guests, those with infants, and elderly guests may find it challenging to navigate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding in advance.

Open Hours and Maintenance

The park is open all year round but closes three times a year for maintenance: on January 1st, the third Monday of January, and the first Monday of September. Temporary closures may occur due to maintenance or other reasons.
