There are many scenic spots along the ropeway ride on the way from Sounzan to Owakudani, where you can enjoy the view of the valley floor below. On the way to Togendai, you can enjoy views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi.
All tickets allow for stopovers. Customers holding this ticket should line up and present it at the ticket gate when boarding. Trains run at approximately one-minute intervals. This service is strictly for the same group of people, with separate activities not permitted during the session.
The Hakone Ropeway may be forced to suspend operations in the event of severe weather conditions such as strong winds, thunderstorms, or approaching typhoons. You can also hop on and off at any station. This gondola has a capacity of 18 people. The travel time between each of the four Hakone Ropeway stations is approximately 10 minutes.
