Hampton Court Palace, located in the London borough of Richmond upon Thames, is a historic palace that served as a residence for the Royal Family over centuries. Although it hasn't been used for this purpose since the 18th century, it remains an ideal destination for a day trip.

Your visit includes access to the palace, its famous maze, and a multi-language audio-guide available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Korean, and Japanese. While exploring, you'll have ample time to visit Henry’s Great Hall and Tudor kitchens, as well as admire the 60 acres of gardens.

Duration

Daily visits last up to 4 hours, allowing for a comprehensive exploration of all open public areas of the palace, including the gardens, courtyards, the Maze, and the Magic Garden (available on weekends from 1 November to 20 December).

  • During peak times, hourly timeslots are used. You can arrive at any time within your chosen one-hour timeslot, so if your timeslot starts at 10.00am, you can arrive any time between 10.00am and 11.00am
  • Off-peak tickets are set as daily tickets with a starting time of 10.00am. Please make sure to visit the official website for updated opening times
  • A ticket includes entry to: All open public areas of the palace, The gardens, courtyards, the Maze, and the Magic Garden (weekends only, 1 November -20 December). Access to the Magic Garden is on a strictly first-come, first-served basis
  • Children aged four years old and undergo free and do not need a ticket
  • Please note dogs are not permitted within the palace gardens unless they are registered assistance dogs
