The Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake Memorial and Disaster Prevention Future Center Museum (DRI) is dedicated to passing on the experiences and lessons learned from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. It serves as a hub for disaster prevention education, aiming to promote knowledge and action related to disaster prevention and mitigation.
The museum offers disaster prevention education facilities centered on the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, helping visitors understand disaster culture and social resilience. Through exhibits and learning, it establishes disaster reduction concepts suitable for families, students, and general tourists.
The visit covers exhibition areas such as the West Hall and East Hall. It is recommended to spend about 2 hours for a complete experience. Entry is permitted no later than 1 hour before closing time (subject to the museum's announcement on the day).
The museum is closed every Monday, but if Monday is a national holiday, it will remain open and close the following day. There may be days when the museum is open for free (such as the 17th of each month), and if the museum is closed on a certain day, the free admission period may be extended.
These tickets can't be rescheduled or cancelled.
