Designed by architect Tadao Ando, the museum spans approximately 16,000 square meters, with an exhibition hall area of about 8,000 square meters. The design integrates natural elements such as light, water, and wind, embodying the artistic conception of Lingnan architectural culture.

The He Art Museum's architecture merges opposing features into a form composed of simple circles and squares, reflecting the ancient "round sky and square earth" concept. The double-helix fair-faced concrete staircase is a breathtaking highlight, symbolizing DNA structure and showcasing Chinese construction technology.

Outdoor Spaces

The Jia'an Garden offers moving lines that imply winding paths leading to seclusion. Curved partition walls combined with pink flowering trees create an immersive experience. Visitor Guidelines

It is prohibited to carry flammable or explosive items in the museum. Only photographic equipment smaller than 15 x 15 x 10 cm (body and lens) is allowed, with a storage area available at the venue. A maximum of two adults can accompany a child or incapable person, and unauthorized group activities involving more than five people are not permitted.
