Getting started
Your journey begins at the Iguaçu National Park Visitor Center. Here you'll validate your ticket before boarding a panoramic bus that will take you to the Cataratas Trail. From there, follow clearly marked paths leading from the bus stop to main viewpoints and boardwalks. You can decide how far you want to walk and which trails to explore first.
Iguaçu National Park (Brazil side)
Experience a UNESCO-listed landscape on the Brazilian side of Iguaçu, where wide open panoramas and close-up boardwalk views await you at the falls.
- Start the Cataratas Trail to pass through a series of lookouts before stepping onto the Devil’s Throat walkway for spray-filled vistas.
- Diverge onto trails like Poço Preto, Bananeiras, Ytepopo, Canafístula, and the Cataratas bike path for serene views of forest, river, and wildlife.
- Use maps, signboards, and interpretation points to select photo opportunities while learning about the Atlantic Forest as you transition between viewpoints.
