Izu Cactus Animal Park takes you into a unique area that combines plants and animals, offering animal interactions and a visit to the cactus greenhouse all in one place. You can get up close to the adorable capybaras in the interactive area – it's incredibly therapeutic! The cactus greenhouse and succulent plant exhibition area offer a chance to admire rare varieties from around the world.
Izu Cactus Zoo is a popular zoo and botanical garden located in Izu, Shizuoka. It houses about 1,500 species of cacti and succulents, as well as about 140 species of animals, including Kapibra. The park is suitable for families, couples, and friends to plan a relaxing trip.
When visiting the park, we highly recommend going to the "Kapibala Rainbow Plaza" to observe the adorable Kapibala up close and enjoy a therapeutic experience with the animals. If you visit in winter, you may also have the chance to see the seasonal "Original Kapibala Open-Air Bath," which is one of the most representative winter landscapes in Izu (the event period and details are subject to the park's announcements).
The "Cactus Greenhouse" is divided into 5 greenhouses showcasing rare cacti and succulents from around the world. Plant lovers will find themselves unable to stop browsing. You can also visit the "Cactus Picking Workshop" to select your favorite plants and pots and create your own small potted plant souvenir (experience details and fees are subject to availability).
To maintain park safety, intoxicated individuals will not be permitted entry.
This ticket does not provide fast-track entry; you will still need to queue according to the on-site flow to enter the park. Passengers who are secondary school students or above should purchase adult tickets. Children under 4 years old can enter the park for free (subject to on-site regulations).
