Around you are approximately 7,000 naturalised animal specimens, arranged to show diversity of species, environments, and evolutionary stories.
Look out for elephant, whale, and giant squid displays, including marine giants such as blue whale and sperm whale skeletons and Wheke the giant squid.
Historic rhinoceros and giant panda specimens are also on view, including references like the Rhinocéros de Louis XV and the giant panda reference specimen that mark important moments in scientific collecting.
Temporary installations, Revivre, the Virtual Reality Cabinet, and the Virtual Reality Room are not included with this ticket, so if you want to visit those, you will need a separate or upgraded ticket on site or via the relevant booking options.
