You need an Android (version 5.0+) or iOS smartphone for the audio tour at the monastery. It won't work on Windows Phones, older iPhones/iPads/iPods. Strict dress code: Please note that off-shoulder tops, dresses, and knee-high shorts are not recommended. Keep in mind that food & beverages and large bags or backpacks are not allowed on this experience. Visitors are not allowed to take photographs in some parts of the monastery.

There is medium accessibility for guests with reduced mobility. The lower level has wheelchair access, though some sections are cobblestoned.

The digital audio guide is available in English, French, German, or Spanish. Entry to the church is free for residents of Portugal on Sundays and public holidays. With disability proof, you can avail up to 60% off on entry. The Jerónimos Monastery remains closed on Monday, January 1, Easter Sunday, May 1, and December 25. The Monastery is closed between 9:30am and 1pm on October 24th and December 5th. Please note that guests may have to wait in a queue for a long time before entering the venue.
