Experience Sapporo’s stunning cityscape from JR Tower's Observation Deck. Open 12 hours daily, visitors can choose between serene early mornings or beautiful late evenings for their visit. Start your journey on the 6F floor and ascend via one of two elevators to the 38th-floor deck in under a minute. Marvel at the expansive views: Ishikari Bay New Port lies northward, while eastward you’ll see the Ishikari River along with Yubaridake and Ashibetsudake mountains (on clear days). To the south is Sapporo Dome stadium and central Sapporo’s grid-like layout; to the west, Hokkaido University and Mt. Teine await your gaze. In winter, witness snow-capped Mt. Teine—a site of Asia's first Winter Olympic Games in 1972.
