Bring your voucher in the format specified in your booking confirmation to join the tour. Wear warm, windproof layers, as you will be on an open motorboat and kayaking in marine park conditions. Wear closed-toe shoes with good grip that can get wet while boarding boats and kayaks.

Do not touch or feed any wildlife during the tour. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on this tour.

Pregnant guests are not permitted for safety reasons. You must be able to confidently paddle a tandem kayak for up to 2 hours in open water. Kayaks accommodate a maximum torso diameter of 55 in and a combined weight of 600 lbs per double kayak. Guests over 6 ft 2 in may find the kayaks less comfortable due to size limitations. You should avoid scheduling other strenuous activities directly before or after this tour. You must disclose medical history, allergies, and physical limitations before departure. Children must be able to swim and paddle in a tandem kayak.

Public tours are available for ages 8+, while private tours can accommodate children as young as 7. A minimum of 4 guests is required for the tour to operate. The tour runs in most weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by the operator. Pickup may be available from select Mendenhall Valley hotels. Wildlife sightings, including whales, are not guaranteed. Federal rules require staying at least 100 yards away from all marine mammals. All participants must sign a Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk form before departure.
