Tour a facility dedicated to restoring the natural power of the forest and promoting environmental protection. Kankyo Geijutsu No Mori is located at the foot of Mt. Sakureizan and took 30 years to construct. During fall, the crimson leaves in the forest turn deep red and yellow-green.
There is a "Fuyusanso (風遊山荘)" rebuilt from an ancient folk house in the territory. The days listed are available for visits, although the facility is closed on a regular basis throughout the off-season. There is a drink take-out service on the 1st floor of Fuyusanso. Eating and drinking are not permitted within the Fuyusanso building.
