Book Kids Plaza Osaka tickets for creative play at Japan’s first interactive children’s museum—one of the top fun attractions in Japan. Inside, you’ll find five floors with areas for role-playing jobs, science experiments, a giant castle slide connecting floors, and even climbing walls.
Kids Plaza Osaka was constructed in July 1997 with the core principle of "Helping children learn by encouraging play, cultivating creativity, and developing individuality." It is the first full-scale interactive children's museum in Japan. The museum houses four floors: the Welcome Floor (1st floor), the Creativity Floor (3rd floor), the Adventure Floor (4th floor), and the Discovery Floor (5th floor).
There are also various auxiliary facilities to ensure a relaxing stay for the family, such as a nursing room, milk bar, and children's shower. Free admission is available for children under 3 years old.
Free coin lockers are available throughout the museum, such as on the 1st floor next to the information booth, on the 3rd floor next to the stairs, and on the 4th floor next to the Peek-A-Boo room (Insert JP¥500 into the coin locker and get your money back after use). Baby strollers can be rented free of charge at the information booth on the 1st floor (strollers are limited and are for use only within the museum).
For those who will bring their own lunch, you may eat at the multipurpose room on the 4th floor.
