About the Studio
Located at Taipei Main Station, the Turkish Ebru Painting Workshop is the only studio in Taiwan dedicated to the art of Turkish water marbling. This unique method of painting on water offers styles ranging from simple to intricate; some artists in Turkey have even recreated Van Gogh's works using this technique. The fluidity of the process provides a visual feast, especially when viewed on video! All pigments are imported from Turkey, and with guidance from instructors from Central Asia and Turkey, you can experience this ancient, exotic, and unique art form right here in Taiwan.
