Overview
"Ryukyu Yokai," an event enjoyable for everyone from young children to adults, will be held again this year at the Experience Kingdom Murasaki Mura.
The mythical creatures that have been passed down in Okinawan folklore for generations have been transformed into luminous sculptures using the techniques of Aomori Nebuta, one of Japan's most representative festivals, creating a space where powerful and imposing yokai lurk. Visitors can enjoy a stamp rally where they discover yokai (supernatural creatures) and stories related to them as they walk along a dark cobblestone path.
There's also projection mapping (shown 4 times a day) and a yokai (supernatural creature) themed cafe.
