- Opening: Watch a video message from the President introducing the history of Kusakura Co., Ltd. and its contributions to the judo world.
Factory Tour: Visit a rare, specialized judo uniform factory. Experience the continuous production process performed by artisans, including weaving, dyeing, cutting, sewing, embroidery, and inspection.
- Fabric Production
Warp and weft threads are precisely interwoven to create fabric that is both strong and soft, serving as the foundation of the judo uniform. While meeting standards for weight and strength, we also strive for a comfortable texture. _ Cutting: To accommodate various body types, we provide detailed sizing. Based on this, we cut with extreme care to ensure the garment fits perfectly.
- Sewing
In addition to creating soft collars by adjusting the stitch width in 1-millimeter increments, we perform delicate sewing on areas like shoulder lines (non-load-bearing parts) that cannot be achieved by cutting alone.
- Inspection and Embroidery
Strict measurements and thorough inspections are conducted according to standards to ensure the product is defect-free. After inspection, names are embroidered according to customer orders.
Judo Uniform Fitting and Belt Tying Experience: Try on a judo uniform and experience tying the belt on authentic tatami mats certified for international competitions. If a staff member with judo experience is present, you can also enjoy a simple kumite (sparring) experience.
