Your experience begins at Tirta Empul Temple, one of Bali’s most sacred water temples, famous for its holy spring used in the traditional melukat purification ritual. Built around a natural spring that has flowed for more than a thousand years, the temple is an important spiritual site for Balinese Hindus. Upon arrival, you will wear a traditional sarong and receive guidance on proper temple etiquette.
The melukat ritual is a cleansing ceremony meant to purify the body, mind, and spirit. You will enter the bathing pools and move from one holy fountain to another, gently washing your face and head under the flowing spring water while offering quiet prayers or intentions. The experience is peaceful and reflective, allowing you to connect with Bali’s living spiritual traditions in an authentic way.
After the temple visit, continue your journey into Bali’s lush countryside for an exciting jungle swing experience. Suspended high above tropical greenery, the swing offers breathtaking views of palm trees, forest valleys, and rice fields.
