Step back to the 13th century as you learn how a former settlement of Benedictine monks developed into a favoured temporary residence of several Czech kings. Along the way, you'll hear about key historical events that shaped the region.

The visit includes the Church of St Barbara, where you can admire the Gothic details of this cathedral-style building. You'll also see a 15th-century stone fountain and explore the Sedlec Ossuary, decorated with the bones of more than 40,000 people.
