What you can expect
Discover the heritage and history of one of Bavaria’s most charming cities on this two-hour walking tour of Nuremberg Old Town. Stroll around the medieval city walls, snap photos of the colorful half-timbered buildings and see the Hauptmarkt, where Nuremberg’s famous Christkindlesmarkt is held.
Learn about Nuremberg’s roots in the Holy Roman Empire and links with the Third Reich from your guide as you walk along the River Pegnitz and visit landmarks like the Albrecht Dürer House, St. Sebald Church, and the Nuremberg Imperial Castle courtyards (Kaiserburg).
This tour will both entertain and inform English-speaking visitors to our great city. The tours are led by experienced, fluent English-speaking guides. Your guide will also point out where you can find the famous Nuremberg sausages and amber lager after the tour!
Must Know
- Please refer to your voucher for final information regarding meeting points, pick-up locations, and pick-up time
- Meeting point description: Meet your guide outside the large center arched entrance of the Nuremberg train station (Hauptbahnhof). The guide will be holding a red and white “Nuremberg Tours in English” sign.(Bahnhofsplatz, Nürnberg, Germany)
- Not suitable:Due to uneven surfaces, this activity is unsuitable for anyone who has difficulty walking and is not wheelchair accessible
